TangoSpanish Refund Policy

At TangoSpanish, we are committed to providing a high-quality and enriching Spanish learning experience rooted in Argentine culture. We want you to be delighted with your journey towards fluency! This Refund Policy outlines the terms for refunds on our online Spanish lessons and course products.

1. Trial Lesson (50% Off First Lesson):

  • Refund Eligibility: The 50% off trial lesson is designed for you to experience our teaching method risk-free. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your trial lesson, you may request a full refund of the amount paid for that single trial lesson.
  • How to Request: Please contact us at info@tangospanish.com within 24 hours after the completion of your trial lesson to request a refund. We may ask for brief feedback to help us improve.

2. Monthly Subscription Plans (Weekly 1, Weekly 2, Weekly 3 Lessons):

  • Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, please cancel at least 48 hours before your next renewal date.
  • Refunds for Current Month: We generally do not offer refunds for the current month’s subscription once the billing cycle has begun, or for lessons already taken within that cycle. You will continue to have access to your remaining scheduled lessons until the end of your current billing period.
  • Exceptions (Pro-rata Refund): In exceptional circumstances, such as verifiable illness or a genuine emergency preventing you from continuing lessons for an extended period, we may consider a pro-rata refund for unused lessons within the current billing cycle, at our sole discretion. Any such requests must be made with supporting documentation.
  • How to Cancel: You can cancel your subscription directly through your TangoSpanish account portal or by contacting us at info@tangospanish.com.

3. TangoSpanish Course Book, Audio Course:

  • Digital Products (E-book/Audio Course): Due to the nature of digital products, which are instantly accessible upon purchase, we generally do not offer refunds for our TangoSpanish Course Book & Audio Course once the purchase has been completed and the product has been delivered/downloaded.
  • Defective Product: If you encounter a technical issue with the digital files (e.g., corrupted files, inability to download after troubleshooting), please contact us at info@tangospanish.com within 7 days of purchase. We will work to resolve the issue by providing new files or alternative access. If we cannot resolve the technical issue, a refund may be issued.
  • Physical Products:

  • Eligibility for Refund: Physical products, including our Spanish coursebook, are eligible for a refund only if returned in their original, unopened packaging with the protective film intact. This ensures the item is in a resalable condition, protecting its value as a new learning resource.
  • Return Window: You must initiate a return request within 14 days of receiving your order.
  • Condition of Return: The item must be in its original, unused, and undamaged condition, precisely as it was received, with all packaging and protective films in place. We cannot accept returns of books where the protective film has been removed, as this indicates usage.
  • Return Shipping: The cost of return shipping for physical products is the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped, damaged upon arrival).
  • Refund Processing: Once we receive and inspect the returned item and confirm it meets the refund criteria, we will process your refund to your original payment method within [Number] business days.
  • To Request a Refund for Physical Products: Please contact our support team at info@tangospanish.com within the stipulated return window, providing your order number and a clear explanation of the return.
 

4. No-Show & Late Cancellation Policy for Lessons:

  • No-Show: If you do not attend a scheduled lesson without prior notification, the lesson will be considered taken and will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
  • Late Cancellation: Lessons cancelled by the student with less than 24 hours notice will be considered taken and will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
  • Rescheduling: We understand that life happens! You can reschedule a lesson without penalty if you provide at least 24 hours notice to your teacher or through your account portal.

5. How to Request a Refund (General):

All refund requests, except for trial lessons (which have a specific 24-hour window), should be submitted in writing to info@tangospanish.com. Please include:

  • Your full name and email address associated with your TangoSpanish account.
  • The date of purchase or subscription.
  • A clear explanation of your refund request.
  • Any relevant supporting documentation (for exceptional circumstances).

6. Processing Refunds:

Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days of approval. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your bank statement, depending on your financial institution.

TangoSpanish reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
